Food Safety Laboratory Regulations
To ensure laboratory safety, all personnel entering or working in the Food Safety Laboratory must comply with the following regulations and relevant institutional policies:
Access Control:
Access to the Food Safety Faculty Laboratory must follow the designated access control regulations and be granted official entry permission.
Safety Training:
Laboratory personnel must complete the university's occupational safety and health training and obtain a valid certification number.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Appropriate laboratory safety gear must be worn at all times, including lab coats and gloves. Safety goggles are also recommended.
Equipment Authorization:
Authorization must be obtained before using any laboratory instruments or equipment.
Chemical and Sample Management:
All chemicals, reagents, and samples must be properly labeled and returned to their designated storage. Waste liquids and general waste must be sorted and disposed of according to recycling protocols.
Working Alone:
Working alone in the laboratory is strongly discouraged.
Food and Drink Prohibited:
Eating or drinking in the laboratory is strictly prohibited.
Instrument Reservation Policy
To use the instruments and equipment of this department, users must comply with departmental regulations and obtain proper authorization as specified for each instrument. The following instruments require advance reservation prior to use.
